Hi friends!  Just a quick post today to show you a super cute cake for a child's birthday.  I got the request to do this cake rather last minute, which worked out great because I didn't have time to fret and worry about it.  I just had to jump in and make it happen. 

I was really thrilled with the way it turned out and it was SO MUCH fun to decorate.  Really!  It's a fantastic cake for a farm/barnyard themed birthday party. 

I followed the directions from Family Fun and it came together quite easily.  It was time consuming, but not at all difficult.  Give it a try!



 


Of course you have to have farm animal cupcakes to go with a farm cake!  So sorry about the dark, dismal photos.  I was seriously out of daylight and quickly snapping pics.  I had to get started on clean up...can you say monumental mess?!  Just keepin' it real for you!
