Hello!  We are finally enjoying consistently cooler temperatures here in the Dallas area.  Ya.  Hoooo!  Going to the pumpkin patch and sweating in 90 degree heat just doesn't put one (me!) in a Fallish mood. 

We went to the Dallas Arboretum last week and it was so lovely!  Although I seriously regretted suggesting (strongly) a long-sleeve shirt for my boy.  He usually runs a little cold, and hello, cute skeleton rib cage on the front!  Perfect for Halloween-ish pics.  He was hot...and let me know about it every 39 seconds.  Mom fail.



My littles were exhausted after playing, exploring and walking all day.  They barely argued during the car ride home.  They just didn't have the strength to go all in.  I'll take what I can get!

Anyway, I have a menu plan ready for this week that involves some tasty cool weather comfort food.
