I need to tell you something.




Oh, help me!  The action, the drama, it's, it's....I just can't explain!  I love it so.  These folks (Clan Campbell) operate out of Haskell, Texas, which is not too far away from little ol' me!  So exciting!

Something else that I love about the show is that Papa Campbell has his own closed captioning translation going on during the entire show.  At first, I thought it was strange, and then it dawned on me that anyone watching the show that didn't grow up in the deep south would (really) need the closed captioning to know what in the heck Mr. Campbell was saying.  Me, I understood perfectly, no translation necessary.  Ummm...is that bad? 


The show has motivated me to create a list of goals for my new fantasy life.

1.  Find a new first name.  It needs to rhyme with "pistol", so my friends can call me "xxxx Pistol".  "Brandy Banana Bread" isn't cool.  So...new first name, and a campaign to beg my friends to call me "??? Pistol".  Yes.
2.  Move to Texas.  Check.  Done.  Amen.
3.  Pink chaps.  yeahhhhhh...
4.  Holster and pistols.
5.  Mad horse riding skills.
6.  Learn to hunt, shoot a firearm and enjoy the outdoors.  (This one may take a lifetime!)
7.  Find the nerve to touch, chase, and/or wrestle with a wild hog.  eek...

So!  I'm getting started on my list now.  Next time I'll have a cupcake recipe for you.
