I have a very important announcement this morning...

It has SNOWED in Texas, ya'll!  We have snow!

While the kids were eating breakfast, I checked the weather app on my phone to see if they needed jackets today.  I'm not clever enough to just open the door and poke my head out. :)


So yeah, I guess we'll do COATS today kiddos!  Snowflakes?

I took a peek outside...Holy SNOW!

Poor Hootie does look pretty perturbed.  He always looks that way though.  Yes, I am aware that he is also beak-less.  He falls sometimes...a lot.  Even without a beak, he keeps the scary and freakishly ginormous grackles from roosting on my back porch.  For that, I love him.

It's not much, but we have snow!  Please don't anyone tell me this is just frost...

Update:  A short three hours later and the snowflakes are gone, all gone. :(
